How agencies start

First, decide who manages the account and pays for the plan.

• Agency account: you manage and pay for one account that holds your client sites.
• Client accounts: each client creates and pays for a separate account. If you refer them, share your personal affiliate link before they sign up.

Work in the account that will hold this client's site. Get one site working before adding the rest.

1. Add the right site
   In My Sites, choose Add a New Website and enter your client's domain.
2. Install once
   Use one supported plugin or app, or the full tracking snippet. Do not add both to the same pages.
3. Confirm the first visit
   Open the client's website. For a connected Wix site, check its activation status in the Wix tab of its settings. For other sites, open Tracking Code and use Refresh activation status. Then open the dashboard and confirm your visit appears.
4. Set up client access
   If the client holds the account, they use their own login. For an agency account: In Multi-user management, choose Add New User. Under Sites, select only this client's site. Leave View All and Billing Access unchecked; View All grants access to every site. Use an email address that is not already used for another Hitsteps account or sub-user. Keep the account owner's login and API code private.

Before you hand over

• The first visit is visible in the correct site's dashboard.
• The client's login opens the intended site and does not show other clients' sites.
• You and the client know who manages the account and who pays for the plan.

Do I need a special account?

No. Start with a normal account and the free 7-day Pro trial. You can add every client site to it.

Who pays for the plan?

You pay for one plan that covers up to 30 sites (Pro) or 100 sites (Business), or your clients create their own accounts. Both work.

Is there a partner discount or white-label option?

Yes. Partners who manage 10 or more client sites can qualify for a 15% discount on their own plan. We also offer a 20% recurring commission on every payment your referred clients make, for as long as they keep paying. If a referred PayPal or Stripe payment is refunded or charged back, the commission for that payment is taken back once. It is restored if PayPal cancels the chargeback. Shopify and crypto refunds are not covered. Commission you have already been paid out can leave your balance negative. There is no white-label plan. Tell us in the application how many sites you manage and we will come back to you.
